Nevada City - Pioneer Trail all the way up to Skillman Campground

Meet at the edge of the Harmony Ridge Market parking lot off Hwy 20 between 9:45-9:55 and WHEELS UP PROMPTLY at 10:00am. This is not a terribly technical rides, but there are some punchy climbs & a good amount of mileage (probably 10.5-12 miles EACH WAY with an elevation gain, guessing, between 2,000-2,500 feet). Would recommend e-mtb w/ full battery or an analog mtb if you're an experienced rider who can ride this distance and that elevation gain without asking for a tow.

After the ride, we can head to 5-Mile House for good bbq and beverages (beer, wine, water, soda... no liquor). If you'd rather, the 15th is also the Mardi Gras parade on Main St in Nevada City (street fair from noon-4 w/ parade starting at 2pm... parking won't be fun, per se).

Speaking of parking, there is plenty of parking for the ride itself. Do NOT park in the Market's parking lot or in the 5-Mile House parking lot. There is plenty along Hwy 20, across Hwy 20 at the old fire house and along Scott's Flat Rd, too. Please factor in parking time (should be quick), unloading your bike, etc.

Ride is weather contingent (will update a day or two prior) based on forecast and if the trails become muddy in the meantime (don't want to damage them).

This should be a lot of fun, and Monday, the 16th, is President's Day, so MOST people have the 16th off. :)
