Join a group of mostly 60+ year-old eMTB riders on a relatively long and challenging ride along the American River.

This ride is about 25 miles with 3,700 feet of climbing, so a full power eMTB with a 625+ WH battery is recommended. This is NOT a beginner route. There are some relatively technical climbs and downhill sections.

Park at the Acorn Creek Trailhead lot (fee) or at the free parking on the south side of Salmon Falls Bridge.

Arrive at 9:15 AM. Roll out 9:30 AM sharp.

This route takes Acorn Creek Trail to South Fork American River Trail (SFART) out to the Cronan Ranch Area where we'll ride West Ridge, Sky Ridge, Gerle Loop, and several other trails. We'll then follow SFART and Acorn Creek back to the parking area.

We'll regroup periodically at major trail intersections and for breaks, photos, etc.

It's going to be a warm day, so be sure to carry adequate water, electrolytes, snacks.
