Coins have been made into rings for years, they were sometimes given as wedding bands after World War I and WWII. It is said that these rings were often made in the trenches or on Navy ships at sea by hitting the coin with a large silver spoon several thousand times. Learn how to heat, hammer, and shape metal while making your very own, very cool looking ring out of a US quarter dollar coin (or bring foreign coins of similar size).

Coins will be provided, but feel free to bring a special one of your own if you prefer. Steel coins cannot be used. Check coins with a magnet.

Cost: $50/person (all materials included)
