Midweek Visit to Parham House and Gardens.......

Details
Parham House Gardens is one of the top 20 Simon Jenkins houses and gardens...........
Building started in 1577 and it has remained a family run house and home - but now is run by a charitable trust.
The estate has over 800 acres of land including a lake and extensive walled gardens and a church. The walled gardens are well kept and provide for a well kept and established collection of colour co-ordinated plantings which make a delight for any photographer......
So we'll meet up at opening time - 12 midday.
COST: £16.00 for house and gardens (12.00 for gardens alone) - concessions available. RHS members get free access to the gardens until end of May. PLUS £5 meetup fee for each person attending.
There is a good cafe for lunch/afternoon tea.
The house itself makes for great photography but the cream on the cake is the extensive and colourful network of walled gardens with colourful planting and the long greenhouse full of colourful potted plants. We can also visit the small church which is situated behind the main house.
More than enough for a relaxed midweek photo meetup. Many good challenges and don't forget the bees..........
See you there Peter
