Dazzling Daffodils at Hever Castle

Many of us have been to Hever Castle before but this is the celebration at Hever of this stunning flower with over a quarter of a million Narcissi type blooms.
Hever Castle is renown for its beautiful gardens ranging from the formal Italian garden with its beautiful sculptures and urns, to the beautiful walks around the 38 acre lake, to the hidden gems of walled gardens and the topiary chess set and blue corner. So many things to photograph at this beautiful time of year.
Cost of entry : £22.50 or £19.50 if booked online in advance. RHS members go free!
Cost of meetup £5 - cash on the day please.
There are two car parks. We'll meet outside the Moat Grab and Go and Restaurant which is nearer to the Top Gate Car Park. What3Words: tuck.bunny.purple >
The grounds open at 10.30 so I suggest we aim to meet near to the restaurant at 10.45-11am. We'll then follow a self-guided route - maps should be available at the entrances. If we do get split up (very likely) we'll agree a place and time to meet at lunchtime.
As mentioned there is a restaurant/ cafe at the meetup point and one also near the Pavilion cafe, near to the Lake View car park.
Take lots of photos and post your favourites on the meetup album after the event. Please make comments on other folk's photos.
Please please if you RSVP 'yes' do turn up. If you do change your mind before the event, please change your RSVP so I know you are not coming. I will email my phone number a day or so before the event and so if you can nor come at the last minute - please text me to say you are not coming. It is common to have 'no shows' and this means a whole group has to wait to see if the member is coming or not. This is not just annoying for the group but discourteous. (Sorry this is not a rant but a common problem for all Meetup groups).
