About This Session
Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) is a proven model for exposing your data to AI-assisted search platforms whilst breaking through the limitations of unwieldy Large Language Modules (LLMs). Microsoft gives us great tools like Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, and OpenAI Studio to build these solutions, but the complexity of the components and how they all fit together can be daunting. In this session, find out how Logic Apps Templates and built-in AI connectors can simplify the construction of both the ingestion and the retrieval processes that comprise your RAG platform, with no coding required!

Dan Toomey is a Senior Integration Specialist for Deloitte as well as a Microsoft Azure MVP, a Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect (MCSE), a Microsoft Certified Azure Developer (MCPD), and a Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) in BizTalk Server 2010. He’s also a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and a published Pluralsight author. Dan is an international speaker, invited to present at global events such as INTEGRATE (London & USA), Aviators in Hamburg (Germany), and PolarConf (Finland), as well as many local Australian events such as Microsoft Ignite Australia (Sydney), API Days (Melbourne), the Global Azure Bootcamp and Xamarin Dev Days. He founded the Brisbane BizTalk User Group in 2005 and is co-organiser of the Brisbane Azure User Group.
