LAST MINUTE: Weapons (2025) directed by Zach Cregger @ Regal Columbus

Details
I don't know if anyone wants to join, but I figure I'll see this at the theatre around the corner from me at 3:45pm today. The trailer didn't really look that interesting, but it is getting 95% on Rotten Tomatoes right now (and I have Regal Unlimited, so why not?)
RUNTIME: 128 minutes
SYNOPSIS (via New Line Cinema): From New Line Cinema and Zach Cregger, the wholly original mind behind Barbarian, comes a new horror/thriller: Weapons. When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance. The film stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, with Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan.
BLURBS:
"["Weapons"] has a multi-perspective narrative and perverse plot dynamics reminiscent of “Barbarian,” but it’s a huge leap in storytelling. It’s also one of the year’s best horror movies, with a terrific ensemble cast." - Peter Howell, Toronto Star
"'Weapons' is an even grander statement of disorder-by-design. A compellingly sloppy tale, it splices together a half-dozen protagonists and no heroes — these six spiraling victims never grasp the full story behind the violence." - Amy Nicholson, Los Angeles Times
"Cregger understands how close screaming is to laughter, and he pitches his movie into the uncanny valley between, where the two fuse into the heightened state reserved for the best roller-coaster rides and scariest ghost stories." - Ty Burr, Washington Post
