Healing Waters Ceremony
Details
This is a Free and Family Friendly event.
This month we will come together and begin a year long journey to partner our goal with those of the World Health Organization and their goal of improving the birth outcomes for mothers and infants worldwide.
---
We will kick off this campaign with a focus on healing water to prevent waterborne illnesses as well as the dis-ease that frequently contribute to the untimely deaths of mothers and newborns. The five most common of these are Amoebiasis, Bacillary Dysentery, Cholera, Cryptosporidiosis, and Giardia.
As we act to heal the waters of the Earth, we also act to heal our bodies, as we are also living beings whose bodies are largely made of water.
Based on the work of Masaru Emoto and the crystalline formations that thoughts and intentions created in frozen water and the belief that we have the ability to transform our world with positive thinking.
This is a fully provisioned ceremony. You are not required to bring anything. Participants are welcome to bring their own items to which they feel a connection to hold the water: Special handmade pottery cups or bowls, a favorite mug or whatever you wish to drink from is fine, especially if it can assist with focusing your thoughts and promoting positive intentions and energy.
After the ceremony, we will pour our water out from the launch and into the Lafayette River, where it will flow toward the Atlantic Ocean via the Elizabeth River and the Chesapeake Bay, beginning this month’s infinite healing process!
This event is free, but we gratefully accept any donation given lovingly.
We are always looking for digital photos of our local region, clean glass containers with lids, craft supplies of all kinds, shells and candles.
