This evening we will create a container for our individual and communal health. Using hot tea as an example, you will learn how to shift your focus from the rat race of daily living to an hour of grace and gratitude.

You will experience a guided exploration through sensory acknowledgement of both your outer and inner worlds, using techniques such as controlled breathing, tapping, movement and bodywork, in addition to meditation.

The tea will help you shrink and fine-tune your focus, and learn how to listen to different parts of your body and mind.

Using positive thoughts and affirmations, we will define and resolve our intentions for the month ahead.

Participants should bring a tea cup, a mat or cushion to sit on, if preferred, and a journal and writing implement (no cell phones please!).
