WHAT IS YOCK???
Yock (or Yok, Yock-a-mein) is a Chinese-African American fusion noodle soup originating in the early 1900s in Virginia's Tidewater region. It typically features boiled chicken, pork, or shrimp, noodles, a soy-sauce-based broth, onions, a hard-boiled egg, and often ketchup and hot sauce for a comfort-food flavor.

So many people all across the seven cities brag about having the best yock in the 757 area, so it's high time we find out who the REAL King or Queen of this classic Virginia dish is. 10 contestants, 3 judges, and a hometown crowd that will decide who the Yock Champion is once and for all!
