Handler & Levesque Guitar Duo -- Romanza

Enjoy passionate & lyrical music from Spain & Latin America for guitar, mandolin and cuatro. The audience will be transported to different parts of the world with a lilting Latin American vals, a danza from Paraguay, a sizzling tango from Argentina, a rhythmic choro from Brazil, Puerto Rican popular music played on the national instrument, beautiful Peruvian & Mexican love songs as well as exciting flamenco music and plaintive Sephardic music from Spain. Also included on the program will be a couple of familiar romantic American songs. Proceeds will be donated to the Manchester Area Conference of Churches’ Community Kitchen and Senior Meals Program, which are facing funding challenges due to increased food insecurity caused by the pandemic.
