Let's make cards! 🎉
My name's Joyze and it's nice to meet you 🤗 I’m always eager to learn more about our local community, and I see this program as a wonderful way to connect with more people while spreading kindness and joy. Making cards—and art in general—is such a fun way to show appreciation and love.
Our group, “The Sunshines,” has been creating handmade cards for local senior and nursing homes throughout the year—especially during Christmas and New Year. In the past, we also visited and sang for the residents, but lately, we’ve only been able to make and send our handmade cards.
We hope to encourage people to discover their own potential to inspire others and to realize how simple acts of kindness, like a handmade card, can make a real difference in someone’s day.
