Our mission is to create and sustain an in-person network of growers producing more fresh fruits and vegetables for Northern Virginians.
We believe that gardeners and farmers have knowledge that can improve our community exponentially.👩🏽🌾👨🏻🌾🧑🏾🌾👩🏼🌾
This meetup is a space where quality food meets our connection to nature & each other, in order to build up our community. We have a few events to attend throughout the growing season, so if you can't make one, there will always be another opportunity.
Ways to volunteer with Hands On Harvests:
- Grow veggies, herbs and fruit to donate as part of HOH's Grow A Row program.
- Grow food and care for native plants at our learning garden (the EGG) in Annandale.
- Volunteer as a gardening Mentor.
- Host a drop-off location, or be a courier to help deliver nutrient-rich produce to our neighbors in Fairfax and Prince William counties. 🚗 🏬
- Of course, financial support of the program is always welcome! There are various ways to Donate :)

Seed & Sip seed-starting workshop (LIMITED CAPACITY)
Caboose Commons, 2918 Eskridge Rd,, Fairfax, VA, USHave fun learning with others how to grow in a garden or containers. Sip, snack and see how easy it is to start seeds for your garden or patio. Hands On Harvests will provide the food, equipment and a variety of seeds; drinks will be available for purchase.
