This meetup will include a lecture by Ginny Johnson from the Master Gardener Speaker's Bureau. The full title of her talk is:
Making the Connection, how Native Americans used Native Plants for their health and well-being.

The talk is about 45 minutes long. We'll follow it with some information about Sacred Sun - the Osage woman from Missouri who travelled to France in 1827 and a hands-on activity.

Cost will be $4 to cover a speaker fee, the cost of our meetup group and event supplies

Guest Speaker - Ginny Johnson
Ginny is a retired RN and USAF military veteran. She is a member of the St Louis Herb Society and St Louis Wild Ones. She volunteers at the Missouri Botanical Garden as a docent and an interpreter, and with the horticulture department in the Climatron. She is on the MBG Members Board and is an Advanced Master Gardener. She also volunteers with Forest ReLeaf.
