Learn about Corn in the Americas

Please join us to learn about corn. It's history, the 3 sisters legend and how corn was preserved and eaten.

We'll grind corn and bake a batch of cornbread in a dutch oven at the park. We'll also churn butter and as a special treat Peggy is making corn-cob jelly for us to try. Chris is also planning to bring elotes (Mexican street corn)

Cost for this meetup is $5 to cover the cost of the picnic site and for a small jar of corn-cob jelly to take home.
