Machine Learning on Big Data

Learn to code and execute your own machine learning algorithms on Hadoop / Map-Reduce. We'll go over basic principals and the details. In-class examples will include k-means clustering, canopy clustering, regularized regression, support vector machine (SVM), recommender system by matrix factorization and other examples depending on the interests of class participants. In-class attendance is limited to 20 people.
