do art (or whatever) and chat together (february meetup)

so it turns out it's pretty hard to make friends as an adult, especially in a space that isn't a bar.

i've created this event as a chance for us to meet new people, connect in person while doing something creative -- doodle, paint, draw, craft, knit, crochet, whatever! -- read, work, or maybe even take a little time to ignore your phone's siren's call to endlessly scroll yourself into a ball of anxiety.

the details:

• time/date: saturday, february 21 from 11am-1pm.
• location: the cutest little coffee shop called the love bug cafe. it is a green house behind the library.
• address: 222 S Independence St, Tipton, IN 46072
• parking: there's lots of free (residential) street parking out front.
• what to bring: whatever project -- art or not -- that you're working on, but nothing is required. you can bring friends, if you'd like.
• how to find me: i'll be at a table with a little sign. my name is katie, so don't hesitate to say hey.
• accessibility: there are a couple steep steps in front to get into the cafe. you can go around back (behind the library) to access the side door with fewer steps.
• price: totally free, but since this is a small, local business it would be nice if you considered grabbing a coffee or a little treat from them.
• additional boring event details: RSVP not required but it helps for planning. and somehow if this event page says the attendance is full, you can ignore that and you're still welcome to join. (it's just a limited feature on this free account.)
