Online Meetup: Tsundoku

Details

Tsundoku is acquiring reading materials but letting them pile up in one's home without reading them. It is also used to refer to books ready for reading later when they are on a bookshelf.

AGENDA OF EVENT:
>> A new format of JBC, we will sharing about our reading experiences that related to Tsundoku terms
>> Catching up with fellow JBC friends

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
It will be easier for you to join in the discussion if you are familiar with the topic and or have joined the meetup at least once in the past. This is a FREE event.

  1. Login only with one device, through mobile or computer
  2. Pick a neutral background and place your device in a stationary position (so people will not get dizzy when looking at your video & you won’t get muscle cramps by the time our 2-hour chat is over!)
  3. Rename your user/ guest name so people could call you out. To make this meetup more effective, we’ll limit the number of participants at 50 people & remove anyone who is not joining with their name
  4. Use earphones to make your voice clearer and avoid feedback/ echo
  5. Turn ON video all the time but turn OFF audio when you’re not talking (we don’t need to know that your cat/dog is throwing tantrums at the back. LOL)
  6. Listen to other people and take turn when talking (note that there might be 1-2 secs lag before people could actually hear you)
  7. The hosts who will help to moderate this meetup are Andri, Bisma, Llia, Dina & Shirley
  8. Check out this example of how to participate in a Zoom meetup/ classroom: https://my.vanderbilt.edu/aiethics/using-zoom-for-remote-participation/
