Hangout Jax Singles Social (Please read entire section as a basic Liability Waiver is included at the end.)
Let’s have some fun hanging out at meetups involving special events, music, dining out, dancing, museums, tourist attractions and more. There are so many things to do around the greater Jacksonville area!
This group is all about sharing interesting social activities with other singles. The popularity of Meetup proves that many of us feel more comfortable attending events with others. What matters most for this group is FUN times.
BASIC RULES: This is not a dating group. If you make connections and want to pursue a potential deeper relationship, that’s fine. Just don’t bring relationship issues and/or overt public displays of affection into group events. I won’t kick people out for asking someone on a date; however, repeated, unwelcome date requests and/or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Please do not try to "chat" with anyone via this group unless you specifically have their permission after attending an event with them. With that said, I don't want to hear all the complaints. If someone “respectfully” shows interest or asks you out on a date, etc., we’re all adults, please answer definitively whether you have any interest. RESPECT is required to be a member of this group. You might not always mesh with some attendees, so please just remember social manners.
While I try to make every event fun and safe, sometimes things are out of my control. I am an unpaid volunteer organizer, so please leave the drama at home. Of course, if you feel unsafe at one of my events, I need to be notified immediately. If you don’t enjoy an event, no one is forcing you to sign up for the next one. If you are not happy with the group and/or members, leave the group. It’s that easy. Let’s just have some FUN!

****LIABILITY WAIVER****
Each HANGOUT JAX 40’s+ Singles Social Group member/event participant voluntarily agrees to assume sole responsibility for their participation and hold harmless the Group Organizer(s) and/or Event Host(s) for any type of injury to their person resulting from ALL HANGOUT JAX event participations. Walking, dancing, dining, travel, weather events, personal or verbal injuries, and any injuries to property are just some of the examples this liability waiver covers. This is not an entire list of potential injury, yet you as a group member participant voluntarily agrees to assume ALL RISK.
NO GUESTS are allowed at this group’s events unless specifically noted in the event posting.  Any guests allowed MUST be informed of this liability waiver by you, the group member participant, and you will assume any and all liability/risk for their participation.  
ALL Event participation is strictly voluntary. Participants are aware of and agree to the possibility they may be included in photos taken at events and uploaded to the Meetup app or social media without any compensation.
When you REQUEST TO JOIN... By Responding “YES” to the membership questions, you agree YOU HAVE READ THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IN ENTIRETY AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE RULES AND THIS LIABILITY WAIVER THROUGHOUT YOUR MEMBERSHIP IN HANGOUT JAX Singles Social Group.
