Bike or Drive to the Jones Beach Air Show Highlighted with the Thunderbirds
Friday practice day and we'll enjoy this event without the massive crowds of the weekend .
If Driving
meet us at field 6 on the sand right by the life guard shack.
(see photo ) . bring chair , food , drink and enjoy we'll be at our spot by 10:30 The Beach side "on the sand " life guard shack (see photo )
By Bike
Be at Cedar Creek Park by 9:30
Backpacks recommended or similar with food , folded blanket , drink, sunscreen , bike lock set etc....And or whatever stows on bicycles for ride to field 6
Cedar Creek Park .....choose any lot ....Arrive no later than 9:30 AM ... ..Meet ready to go by the Statue @ 9:45 and we head down the bike path at 10:00 AM....
Check that bicycle is in good working order before hand and a lock set is recommended or nice folks will share their lock with you.. We will lock the bikes at the bike corral near field 6
Bike to beach is 4.3 miles each way and easy for the novice.....

*Performers 2025: U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the U.S. Army Golden Knights, and Warbird Thunder Airshows, among other military and civilian performers. Additional military performers include the U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Demo Team, U.S. Navy F-35C Demo Team, and U.S. Navy Rhino Demo Team. Civilian acts include the American Airpower Museum Warbirds and Long Island's David Windmiller. time at Jones Beach, along with the American Air Power Museum Warbirds, Long Island’s own David Windmiller and the SUNY Farmingdale State College Flying Rams, who plan to fly 22 of their college-owned aircraft... Civilian performers on the list include the world-famous Skytypers and their flight squadron of five vintage WWII aircraft and Mike Goulian the most decorated aerobatic pilot in North America
