Pingtan Performance and Hangzhou History Tea Chat

Join us for a cozy afternoon tea hangout. We will take a short walk in one of the old Hangzhou neighborhood and watch Suzhou Pingtan folk music live performance (Chinese vocal story telling performance with traditional musical instrument such as Pipa and Erhu) together.

After Pingtan Performance we will explore a nearby tea house and enjoy light afternoon snacks and taste local tea. While you relax and admire the unique design of a Chinese tea garden, the host will share Hangzhou's development as a historical city, past and current local art and music scene, and how Hangzhou evolved over 8000 years and become the new culture, e-commerce and technology hub for companies such as Alibaba, DeepSeek and GameScience(Producer of Black Myth: Wukong)

Come experience what a typical relaxing day feels like with a Hangzhou local in one of the old Hangzhou neighborhoods.

30 min Pingpan Performance
1.5 hour afternoon tea and city history culture talk

Please inform the host ahead of time in case of any dietary restrictions or special requests. There is no wheelchair access unfortunately for this event. Children is allowed but need to be quiet during Pingtan Performance. Event time is in Beijing time(Hangzhou local time)
