The cost of this meetup is 25,000 Đong per session, which covers the cost of running the meetup group and coffee for the organiser.

In 2014, learn to program in Python while improving your English.

If you have never programmed before, why not make 2014 the year you start and learn together with some others in Hanoi. If you can already program, come along and help out. As well as learning to program, you'll also be doing everything in English, so you get to learn two things at once!

We'll be learning to program in a language called Python. It's beginner-friendly, so even if you've never programmed before, this is a great place to start. One of your hosts is an experienced Python user, so you'll have expert help along the way as you work towards building a search engine.

We'll study this course together https://www.udacity.com/course/cs101, which runs for 11 lessons. The course is self-paced and FREE, so you can choose how you want to study.

This is not a lesson, but a study group, so we will study together but we are not teaching as such. Everyone will follow the course and support each other.

This group will meet up weekly to watch the videos together and tackle the tasks set, while dealing with any issues that arose in the previous week.

By the end of the 12 week, we aim to have built a search engine and we'll be ready to take on Google.

We'll be learning in the offices of Codelovers Vietnam, where you'll have access to awesome-fast internet and some great coding experts.
