Refugee Insights: My Journey as a Single Mom: Reflections on Refugee Moms
Details
Our next event highlights the Ugandan refugee single mom's story and her reflections on refugee mother's challenges in Korea that her story will be shared through a presentation, Q&A, and tea and networking. We hope this gathering becomes a meaningful step—from understanding, to coexistence, and solidarity.

\ is a recurring event organized by the refugee-led group Hanokers, where refugees living in Korea share their stories with the public. Through these gatherings, we aim to strengthen the sense of connection and build relationships between refugees and non-refugees in Korean society.
Following our Storytelling Workshop in May, Hanokers launched the Refugee Insights Fellowship, where refugee activists develop their own creative projects with the support of mentorship and community. Through this fellowship, participants develop storytelling and communication skills—and begin transforming their experiences into public-facing works.
