What is Forest Bathing?
A Japanese practice of “taking in the medicine of the forest.” Walking mindfully in the trees using your five senses.
Reduces Stress
Proven to help not just temporary stressful situations but chronic stress by reducing cortisol levels.
Benefits of Returning to Nature
Within minutes your body relaxes, blood pressure stabilized, stress hormones decrease, and muscle tension decreases.
Different than Walking
Forest bathing is about a leisurely meditative experience. Where you engage all your senses, notice sensations and how you’re connected to the natural world.
