Train your Brain to be Happy

Details

Think and act your way into a happy brain, healthy body and balanced life. In this workshop you’ll learn how to:

- Envision your future
- Practice (social) self-care
- Embrace your past
- Learn to find your purpose
- Hack your brain chemistry for happiness
- Become your own partner
- Manage stress
- Get over fears that are holding you back

When Sara and Maggie met they realized that they have been using the same tools to be happy, in spite of their very different culture, age and experiences. They knew they had to bring this knowledge together so others could use it for their own happiness. Welcome to their workshop!

Sara (late 60s) liberator, speaker, coach & author. She survived the mass genocide of Cambodia, the event that claimed about 2 million lives out of 7 million. Having been a prisoner of war for 4 years, and escaping 3 times, she knows what it takes to break free physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. Through her own resilience and her faith she escaped, fled to America, graduated college, and wrote an award-winning book called "How I Survived the Killing Fields." Now, she helps people break free from their own personal prison and limitations that are stopping them from being at peace, happy and whole.

Maggie (late 30s) started off as a social worker in Belgium but has lived in Australia, the UK, Malta and Uruguay. Being a late-diagnosed ADHDer and coming from a dysfunctional family, she experienced mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and burn-out throughout her life. She finally started seeing life in color again after doing intensive cognitive behavioral and positive psychology therapy. Because of her interest in body and mind she became a life and health coach and now helps people across the globe to live a happy life, using the tools she learnt in her own journey.
