In the land of Terra Mystica dwell 14 different peoples in seven landscapes, and each group is bound to its own home environment, so to develop and grow, they must terraform neighboring landscapes into their home environments in competition with the other groups.

Terra Mystica is a game with very little luck that rewards strategic planning. Each player governs one of the 14 groups. With subtlety and craft, the player must attempt to rule as great an area as possible and to develop that group's skills. There are also four religious cults in which you can progress. To do all that, each group has special skills and abilities.

Rules will be taught and games explained, so, with a little patient, you can just dive right into the gaming goodness.

The Game Plan

We will first play with Terra Mystica with expansion. We will play some other filler games if we have spare time after those games.

Languages

Cantonese is the current preference, English speaker might be the minority but are welcome as well.

The Location

We have selected the food court at Fortune Metropolis to host the meet-up. As it is an indoor location that has large tables and relatively convenient location. Also, it's free. We could organise pick up at Hung Hom MTR station for those that are not familiar with the area. (Please leave us a message if needed)

No Show Policy

If you have a change of plans, please let us know latest on 10 pm the day before the meet-up (or change RSVP) so others may fill your spot. Otherwise, leave a message here for last-minute cancellation. (Hopefully, that is not going to happen)
No-shows or last-minute cancellations without informing us will be noted.

We might be changing formats in the future depends on the feedback and turnout.
