Happy Gathering

Hi 👋

As the summer is ending and the warm days in Germany will become less frequent soon, we want to come together for one big picnic at the Isar. This is a chance to enjoy the last golden afternoons of the season, share good food, and spend time outdoors with friends and new faces alike.

Bring along something to eat or drink, a blanket to sit on, and anything you’d like to share with others. Whether it’s homemade snacks, fresh fruit, or just your favorite drinks, everything will add to the atmosphere of a big community table under the open sky. Music, games, and good conversations will make the afternoon lively and relaxed.

The idea is to celebrate the warmth and light of summer before autumn fully arrives. Let’s make it a gathering where everyone contributes a little and enjoys a lot - a moment of connection by the river that we can all remember fondly as the days grow cooler 😁

One of the most popular meetups on the platform is back for another round - Our second year of regular monthly meetings will start this September!

Wombar, located in Munich's famous Werksviertel, is our meeting point for almost two years now, our Last Friday of the Month Meetup gatherings have an almost one year monthly regularity, so let's continue meeting new people, inhabitants and travelers, from our beloved city.

"The Munich Hub" is a heterogenous community of people in search for more meaningful connections to the world and to the people around us.
From students to retirees - everyone’s welcome 😊, with the average age currently in the early 30s. We hike together, we explore the city together, we learn about each other's cultures, we have meaningful conversations together, and (most importantly) we are here for each other during difficult moments.

If you are interested in having a chat and maybe sharing a drink while making new friends, then we're looking forward to meeting you! There is no need for a reservation, no place limit.

• Nina - mother of 3 teens and wife. I am an industrial engineer and at the moment a Masters student in International Management, Romanian. Extremely extroverted in behavior, I love people and I like to be around people 😊
• Frank - One of Nina's best friends from Germany and semi-regular organizer of other events as well (Museums, hikes, day trips to nearby cities, etc). The calm and structured counter-balance to Nina's chaos 😁
