City of Lights, Street Food & Sightseeing Heritage Walkabout
About the walkabout
1) 2.5 to 3 hours, allowing time for photography & tasting the local foods along the way & narrative of the city. 2 Hours walkabout, 1 Hour Street food Dinner.
2) Starts at 6 PM. Distance to cover 8 KM, for safety & sight, a Blinker will be provided to each so you are seen & safe.
We walk on to the where the City Got its Name, confluence of 2 Rivers which was Muddy Jetty, Kuala means Jetty & Lumpur means Muddy. Next, the ancient Wet market is now a touristy souvenirs paradise & we move on to Chinatown & towards the Iconic shaped like a Dagger Maybank Building. (30 Mins)
Now it’s would be 7 PM we walk past the 24 hours & 2 KM long Street food paradise where all kinds of foods & beers & deserts are available, very delicious & all under USD 10. We take an hour here savouring various dishes (1 Hour)
Towards the end of the Foods stall, we pass the heart of the KL city, all lighted like its Christmas, all modern, Busy & Great for photography. (30 Mins)
We pass the KL Towers and arrive at the Iconic Twin Towers, KLCC & witness the beautiful lighted Building & the dancing Musical Fountains. Tour ends here when the Fountains Stops at 9 PM.
The public transport is under the KLCC where we can circle back to where for the Royal Selangor Club for Food & the best draft Beers by the Long Bar, Club is only Open to Members, I will be your host as the Life member of the Club.
