📍 Location: Jumbo Rocks Campground, Joshua Tree National Park, CA

Hey adventurers! 🌵🧗🥾
We’re heading out to one of Joshua Tree’s most iconic spots — Jumbo Rocks Campground — for a weekend of rock climbing, hiking, and car camping under the stars!
Whether you’re here to send some boulder problems, explore the trails, or simply kick back at camp and soak in the desert vibes, all are welcome!

🧗 FOR THE CLIMBERS
Jumbo Rocks is a climber’s playground! We’d especially love to have fellow climbers join us and share the stoke. If you’re into bouldering or trad/sport routes in the park, come hang and climb with us! This is a casual, fun outing — no pressure, just good vibes and good sends.
🥾 FOR THE HIKERS
Joshua Tree has incredible trails weaving through giant boulder formations and otherworldly desert landscapes. Lace up and explore at your own pace!
🚗 FOR THE CAR CAMPERS
Set up your home base at Jumbo Rocks and enjoy cozy campfire nights beneath a jaw-dropping starry sky.

💰 CAMPING CONTRIBUTION: $5 per person
Since we need to book the campground in advance, we’re asking each participant to chip in $5. Here’s the breakdown of how it’ll be used:
∙ First, campground fees get covered
This is not for profit — every dollar goes right back into making the trip great for all of us.

This is a Non-refundable fee as reservation since campground is fully booked.

BRING firewood 🪵 if you can!

📌 IMPORTANT NOTES
∙ The date is confirmed to be April 18th — please mark your interest now and we’ll lock in the date once we have a good headcount, especially from climbers!
∙ This is a car camping trip — no backpacking required. Drive up, set up, enjoy!
∙ Bring your own gear, food, and water. Joshua Tree is remote, so come prepared!
∙ Leave No Trace principles apply — let’s keep this beautiful place pristine. 🌿

This is a long drive and parking may be limited. Highly redommend to carpool to this location If you can. Ask in the comments to pair for carpooling! 🚗

Bring plenty of water and sunscree as this a desert camping. 💧

Join me for a 6miles evening hike. Let's finish the day with clear mind so we enjoy the rest of the week days. It's been a while since our last hike around this area. Let’s hike again and enjoy the great mountains, nice views of downtown LA, beautiful sunset announcing the end of the day, and the perfect weather.
We are starting at 5:00pm at the trail head going N and come down S. (only)

What to bring:
2 liters of water, hiking poles, Hiking shoes, and a snack.
It’s 6 miles loop hike moderate pace.
Elevation: 1,500’ gain
Parking: street parking. Usually is plenty of parking.
