Mt Pacifico Campground. Dia de Muertos.

We’re car camping again at Mt Pacifico Campground, 7,100’ elevation, on this LAST DAY OF DAYLIGHT SAVINGS!
We gain an extra hour, overnight!
We’ve camped at this popular destination several times over the last 3 years, here on Meetup.

Set up your tent, or sleep in your vehicle.
Arrive at the campground, anytime, whether if you’re driving up, biking up, or hiking up the PCT from Mill Creek.

This is a FREE, first come, first served campground.
There are picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets. There is no water.
Bring your own water supply.

High clearance vehicle required, especially the last mile on the fire road leading up to the campground. For example, a Subaru Outback will make it, but a Prius will definitely get stuck and leave you stranded.

Adventure Pass required to park either at the Mill Creek trailhead or the campground.

You also have the option to hike on the PCT, or bike up the fire road, to the campground, about 6 miles, from the Mill Creek trailhead.
We can transport all your extra water supply and whatever gear up to the campground for you, if you want. Just arrange to meet at the trailhead parking lot, as usual.
