Let's do this again! This time a different route.

Each walk gets better and better and the neighborhoods are truly amazing. This week will begin our walk at Rio de Los Angeles State Park. It used to be a railroad switching station knows as Taylor Yard. We will also pass through the historic Mt. Washington hills that we did last week, and stroll through a portion of the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy.

We will meet across the street from the Rio de Los Angeles State Park near San Fernando road. Parking is NOT free. $8 all day, seniors $7
Parking is available on nearby streets off San Fernando Road.

DIRECTIONS TO LA STATE PARK

Since this is a big park lets meet across the street at
KERMANIG BAKERY
We will start are walk nearby.

After our walk, those that are interested we can have lunch nearby and/or check out the park afterwards.

The secret stairs are based on this book and showcase staircases all over Los Angeles.
