LUNAH’s Hike: Vetter Mountain Lookout from Chilao Campground!
Details
From Chilao Campground (Little Pines loop entrance, about a 100 yards in) we’ll hike to Vetter Mountain Fire Lookout. This is an out and back hike, approximately 6 miles. (subject to editing)
After the hike you can hang with us back at camp if you like, as some of us will be camping overnight.
Adventure Pass is required to park at or near the campground entrance.
Bring your water filter (optional) as there is water everywhere from the snow melt.
We will stop for Lunch at the benches next to the fire lookout.
