Dispersed Camping and Stargazing near Whitney Portal

After sending off 3 of our mighty So Cal Happy Hour members for their climb up Mt Whitney early Monday morning I will be disperse camping in Alabama Hills on Monday, and at Whitney Portal reserved campsite on Tuesday.
I plan on just chilling, radio communicating with them, and doing some stargazing, nothing more.
I don’t plan on doing any hiking.
