Times Fool Theater Company presents William Shakespeare's Hamlet

I know pretty much of nothing when it comes to Shakespear's work so when I saw this I thought it might be a fun and interesting event to sit outside and enjoy the play. Hopefully there will be some interest to join me. The lawn area is not the large so I think arriving around 5 p.m. would work well. There is plenty of parking in the back of the building.

Wethersfield Historical Society is proud of our continuing partnership with Time’s Fool Company. This year’s fifth production on the Keeney grounds is William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The Time’s Fool stage is set up on the lawn between the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center (200 Main Street) and the Hurlbut-Dunham House (212 Main Street). Bring your own seating, a picnic and something cool to drink, your sense of humor, and your willing suspension of disbelief for an evening with Shakespeare’s melancholy Dane out-of-doors. Saturday, Aug 16th performances begin at 6:00 pm. Admission to all shows is free, but donations are gratefully accepted.
In the event of inclement weather, performances will move indoors to the Keeney Ballroom.
