It’s picnic time!
This year our group is joining forces with the Sonoma County Fifty Plus Singles Group for a joint picnic. This is a great event to meet new friends and catch up with old - um, long time ones and just have some fun. (If you are a member of both groups you only have to RSVP in one of the groups.)
The location is Galvin Park located right next to the Bennett Valley Golf Course. (see notes below on how to find us)
Things to know:
- There will be a sign in sheet, so please do sign in. That gives us a really good idea of how many attended which helps us plan for the next year’s picnic.
- It is a Potluck - please bring a dish to share such as a salad, appetizer, main dish or dessert.
- We will be supplying hot dogs, buns and condiments.
- We will also be supplying paper plates, cups and utensils - if you prefer you can bring your own, but please nothing breakable.
- There will be signs on to food tables as to where to put you specific food such as salads, appetizers, and such. Please try and put things in the correct general area - this is especially true for appetizers.
- NOTE: Please do not start eating until the cooks are done so they can sit and enjoy themselves as well. Usually around 1:00
- We will have some water and sodas available but it is recommended you bring your own drink.
- Alcohol is allowed, however, per park rules glass is not. If you do bring anything in a glass container you will be asked to return it to your car.
- Pets are not allowed.
- There will be games and perhaps some cool prizes.
- Most Important be sure to bring your sense of humor, big beautiful smile and the ability to perhaps be a little childish again.

Important Note: As Covid still lingers around we do ask that you do not attend if you are sick. If you have recently had Covid please make sure that you have tested negative twice before attending. Thank you.
