## 🌲 Forest Bathing & Breathwork: A Mindful Nature Reset 🌲

The forest has always known how to slow us down. If you’ve been craving a break from the noise, join us for a gentle morning of reconnection in the heart of Maple Ridge.
Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yoku) is the Japanese practice of simply being in the presence of trees. There is no "peak" to reach and no hiking experience required—just a gentle, intentional walk where nature does the healing.

## 🍃 What we will explore together:

  • The Arrival: A brief circle to meet your fellow nature lovers.
  • The Walk: A slow-paced stroll through the local forest.
  • Mindful Breathwork: Simple techniques to open your senses, settle the mind, and "land" in your body.
  • The Close: A moment of shared reflection before we head back.

## ✨ This is for you if:

  • You want your time outdoors to feel more meaningful.
  • You prefer the forest to a yoga studio.
  • You simply need a mental reset and a breath of fresh air.

## 📍 Location & Logistics

  • Where: A beautiful local trail in Maple Ridge, BC.
  • The Reveal: To keep our group size mindful, the exact trailhead address will be sent via Meetup message/email 48 hours before the event.
  • Wear: Layers and comfortable walking shoes (it can be damp under the canopy!).
  • Weather: We walk rain or shine, but will message everyone by 8:00 AM if conditions are unsafe.

This event is completely free and open to all. Come as you are, breathe deeply, and let the forest do the rest.
