HW Ponce Inlet AVA Group Walks, 6 Km, 8 KM or 11 Km

Join the Happy Wanderers for these AVA-sanctioned 6 km (3.7 miles) or 11 km (6.8 miles) group walks in beautiful Ponce Inlet, FL. Optional 8 km (5 miles) trail up the beach to the end of the jetty and then back. See the lighthouse, the jetty and the Marine Science Center as well as the neighborhood of Ponce Inlet.

You may walk with the group or at your own pace. Maps and Directions are provided for the trails. Registration starts 30 minutes prior and the cost is $4.00 for participants 12yrs old or older. Children to be accompanied by an adult. Volksmarchers will receive IVV/AVA credit for this event.

The walk is rated 1C (flat & moderate), as a significant portion of this walk is on the beach (hard-packed sand.) Or, you can walk along the sidewalks on A1A, parallel to the route. The alternate route is suitable for wheelchairs/strollers and leashed pets.
