Happy Wanderers 6/11k Group Walks in DeLand, FL

Join the Happy Wanderers for these AVA-sanctioned 6 km (3.7 miles) or 11 km (6.8 miles) group walks in stately DeLand, the County Seat of Volusia and home of Stetson University. See all the sites (including the regionally famous murals, and many historic Florida homes).

Registration begins at 7:30 AM in the lobby seating area of the Courtyard Marriott. Please don't park at the hotel - you can park next door at the PNC Bank (closed on Sundays) or in municipal parking nearby.

You may walk with the group or at your own pace. Maps and Directions are provided for the trails. Registration starts 30 min. prior and the cost is $4.00 for participants 12yrs old or older. Children to be accompanied by an adult. Volksmarchers will receive AVA credit for this event.

The walk is rated 1A and is mostly on sidewalks - suitable for wheelchairs / strollers. Pets are allowed but must be leashed and picked up after.

After the walks, join club members for breakfast/brunch at a local restaurant!
