Happy Wanderers Group Volksmarchs 5/10 Km - Mt Dora

Join the Happy Wanderers for these AVA-sanctioned 5 km (3.1 miles) or 10 km (6.2 miles) group walks in the quaint lakeside town of Mt Dora, FL.
Registration starts at 12:30 p.m. in the hotel lobby seating area. You may walk with the group or at your own pace. Maps and Directions are provided for the trails. The event cost is $4.00 for participants 12yrs old or older. Children to be accompanied by an adult. Volksmarchers will receive IVV/AVA credit for this event.
The walks are rated 1C (some small hills & dirt trails.) The majority of the route is on city sidewalks and is generally suitable for wheelchairs/strollers.
Mt. Dora is about an hour's drive from the Daytona Beach area - take I-4 to exit 101c, FL46, near Sanford and following signs for Mt Dora about 18.5 miles. Upon reaching the town, turn right on N. Highland St. and drive 4 blocks to the traffic signal at E 5th Ave. Turn left on E. 5th to Alexander St. and drive 5 blocks to the Lakeside Inn. Use nearby public parking lots, as the hotel parking is for guests only.
