Brenda's Big Beautiful Book Launch at Lost Weekend Café

From a small town in the American Midwest to Munich by way of...Spain?! Brenda isn't sure how that happened, either, but it was all in the name of love, language, and adventure abroad.

Brenda will read from her book and answer questions from the moderator, Alexander Chavez, about how she learned German (or didn't), integrated (mostly), and how she managed to recreate American culture for her kids in Germany.
