⏰ Meet Time: 7:00 AM (Parking is very limited, especially after 7:00 AM – arrive early to secure a spot!)

HIKE OVERVIEW:
• Distance: 3.3 miles (round trip)
• Elevation Gain: 682 ft
• Trail Type: Out & Back
• Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
• Estimated Duration: ~3 hours (includes breaks & time at the waterfall)
• Main Highlight: Sturtevant Falls – a gorgeous 50-foot waterfall tucked in a lush, shaded canyon!

WATERFALL EXPERIENCE: 💧🌈

Expect a magical walk through an enchanting forest filled with flowing creeks, historic cabins, rustic wooden bridges, and plenty of nature’s soundtrack. We’ll arrive at the breathtaking Sturtevant Falls and spend about an hour at the base, enjoying snacks, photo ops, and some refreshing water play. Bring a towel and extra socks if you plan to dip your feet!

WHAT TO BRING: 🎒
• At least 1.5L of water
• Water shoes or waterproof hiking boots (you’ll cross water several times!)
• Light, moisture-wicking clothing
• Towel and/or extra socks
• Trail snacks or breakfast bites
• Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses
• Bug spray (optional)
• And of course — a POSITIVE ATTITUDE, A HAPPY HEART, AND YOUR HAPPY FEET!

PARKING & PASSES 🅿️

A U.S. Forest Service Adventure Pass is REQUIRED to park:
• At the Chantry Flat parking lot, OR
• Anywhere along Chantry Flat Road.

Adventure Passes are $5 (Day Pass) or $30 (Annual Pass) and can be purchased at REI, Big 5, or online. Be sure to display it clearly on your dashboard to avoid a citation.

NOTE: Parking fills up quickly, and spots may be gone shortly after 7:00 AM — plan accordingly.
