People often ask, "Where's the fire?" The answer is simple: sometimes there is one... but The Fire Pit is really about what happens around it—good conversations, laughter, and the connections we make together.

Welcome to the next chapter of a community that's been bringing people together over great drinks and even better conversations.

This group began as the Friday Afternoon Club (FAC), created by Mike to give people a place to unwind, meet new friends, and enjoy local restaurants, breweries, wineries, and pubs. We're grateful for the foundation he built, and we're excited to continue that tradition as part of The Fire Pit community.
A fire pit isn't just a place—it's what happens around it.

It's where stories are shared, laughter comes easily, strangers become friends, and everyone is welcome to pull up a chair.
Whether you're 25 or 75, new to the area or have lived here your whole life, coming alone or bringing friends, you'll find a relaxed, judgment-free atmosphere where genuine connection comes first.

We'll explore local breweries, wineries, cocktail lounges, restaurants, patios, coffee shops, festivals, and hidden gems throughout North Idaho and Eastern Washington. Some gatherings may feature live music, trivia, tastings, lawn games, or other fun activities—but there's never any pressure to participate. If you'd rather grab a drink and enjoy a great conversation, that's exactly what we're here for.

Our only rules are simple:
