My Aim
What I envision from this group is creating a group of nice & friendly people interested in active life style.
Salient Features
- We are what is said in the tin - HappyHikers (Please dont join if you are not happy or silly)
- We are very social , we always have funny self introductions & games to break the ice.
- We are more explore minded & interested in history , flora & fauna of the places where we visit.
- We are more spiritual & free minded & into things like yoga , meditation etc.
- We always have pub lunches or an alternative hot food stop (But you are free to bring your own food too).
- Ideally , distance will be around 16k. We will stick to moderate but regular exercise.
Rules
- I don't want people who attend only free events in the group. Only join the group if you appreciate the effort behind it.
- RSVP only after you are 100% sure of attending the event.
- 'No shows' and lastminute RSVP NOs who haven't informed me a reason will be permanently banned from the group.
- Please note that even though we are open to everyone, Our current regulars are professionals like IT consultants , scientists , financial consultants etc.

We will be visiting the charming hidden gem of little Switzerland with the best coastal views of Britain & will see even France on a clear day. We will also visit battle of Britain memorial , historical Martello towers. We will delve extensively into the history of the place including world war 2 & channel tower construction.

Flexible - cafes/pubs on the way. Not pre booking for flexibility🦺🥾🚰What to bring: You must bring a backpack with Waterproof Jacket , a picnic lunch (if you didn't book the table at the pub ), hiking foot wear and 1.5 L water.
📝Note : Dedicate entire evening for the hike as return time cant be guaranteed.
