What we're about

This is a Ladies only social group and book club! I intend for this book club to be a group of casual book readers that want to get together to discuss books and have fun. We will read a variety of books and meet at a variety of places. If you enjoy books but also want to socialize, then this is the group for you! P

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE GENERAL INFORMATION BELOW!

WHO ARE THE MEMBERS:

Young , Professional and Fun ladies in their 20s - 40s. Most members are late 20s/ early 30s. * Must be at least 21 to join. We drink alcohol at our meetings so if you are against drinking, this may not be the group for you. (You are by no means required to drink, but must respect other member's decisions to do so.) This is not a young mother's group. If you are mostly interested in children related groups or discussion, there are several available on Meetup.

WHAT TYPES OF BOOKS AND ACTIVITIES:

We read fun and engaging books and go to happy hours.

We read all types of genres. We pride ourselves on having open dialogue and respectful conversation even if the topics of some books can be at times heavy.

Books include non-fiction (biographies, memoirs) and all kinds of fiction including (but certainly not limited to) general fiction, historical fiction, comedy, thrillers / mystery, gothic fiction, romance / romantic comedy, and the occasional science fiction work.

WHERE DO YOU MEET?:

Hilliard and Dublin. We strive to visit new venues, try new happy hours, and accommodate members who live in work in all parts of the area.

WHY JOIN:

Ladies join who are fun and like to socialize and make new friends! If this sounds like you, then join us to meet some new people and have fun!

WHEN DO YOU MEET:

At least 1-2 times per month month, usually a weekday around 6:00. Occasional weekend book clubs.

Please note, members who are inactive (do not attend a Meetup or visit the Meetup page) for more than 6 months or repeatedly no show / last minute cancel will be removed. Thank you! :) Members that are disrespectful to other ladies or to our restaurant hosts will be immediately removed.
