My friend and co-worker Mike Szczys will be in town the last week of August, so I thought it was a great time to have a meetup. You might recognize Mike's name as the former editor-in-chief of Hackaday.com. Now he writes firmware and builds electronics for IoT projects.

Please bring out your latest projects to showcase to everyone! No requirement, but a project you can point at (or one that blinks LEDs) is always a great conversation starter with new people.

Trying a Durham specific meetup this time, instead of "in between cities". We'll see how it works out! Future meetups can be more local to Raleigh or Chapel Hill. Hi-Wire Brewing has a pizza place AND an ice cream place directly adjacent to the beergarden. Sounds good to me!
