He is also an expert on startup ecosystems with over 14 years experience across Asia (China, Japan, Korea) and USA.
Entrepreneur, angel investor and regular public speaker on innovation, Benjamin has keynoted and moderated at over 200 conferences such as TEDx, SXSW, LeWeb, Stanford and Berkeley.

Raph will briefly cover the current state of the hardware scene in Europe as well as the evolution of the investment strategies targeting in particular the massive IoT emerging market.

Raph is a strategic & analytical international digital professional who turned the page on 14 years at Apple to come back to his love of entrepreneurship & innovation-driven companies. His latest role was focusing on driving the Strategy & Business Development for the iPhone & iPad in Europe.
He is now actively engaged with the Startup / VC community, particularly with Startupbootcamp, building the iOT program out of London.

7:40pm: Ilian Iliev - Founder & CEO @ EcoMachines
Ilian will talk about his experience on investing and supporting hardware startups from sectors such as industrial manufacturing, robotics, material science and waste. He will also briefly cover the topic of lean manufacturing.

Indrek's talk topic will be "Fail or dying trying: why hardware is hard and what you can do about it"

Buildit is an accelerator for new global success stories in hardware. It is the first accelerator in the Baltic States and Nordic countries with a focus on physical devices (hardware in combination with software).
During the 3 months mentoring program teams can use prototyping facilities like 3D printers, CNC machines and laser cutters.
Among the Build it mentors we can find Scott Miller from Dragon Innovation, Zak Homuth from Upverter and Katherine Hague from Shoplocket.
