Hexagro.io - IoT and vertical farming

This (virtual) meetup will be about Vertical Farming and IoT, and how these technologies are a key to build a more resilient food system, but still face many scalability and accessibility challanges. Alessandro will share about his experience leading Hexagro, a Vertical Farming startup based in Milan, Italy, and their vision to decentralize food production and allow people to grow fresh food anywhere, even in poorer areas of the world.

Alessandro Grampa is a founder, maker (without an engineering degree), and gastronome. Passionate about tech, food and sustainable holistic system design. Current co-founder of the agrotech startup Hexagro Urban Farming and a couple of other less fancy projects.
