Green Walking Tour in Havre de Grace and Winter Farmer's Market!

In honor of Spring, let's take a Havre de Grace Green Walking Tour! The fabulous Havre de Grace Green Team designed a great walking tour highlighting pollinator, victory and community gardens and other environmentally-friendly initiatives in Havre de Grace - let's check it out!

Here's the plan:

We'll gather at the Lock House Museum parking lot to check out the Pollinator Garden there, then proceed close to the shore checking out green projects along the way to the Pollinator Garden in Tydings Memorial Park before heading back north to end at the Solar Powered Buildings and Pollinator Garden on Pennington Avenue. This will bring us to the location of the Havre de Grace Winter Farmer's Market where we can support our local farmers and entrepreneurs! If people are hungry and up for it, we could also stop for brunch at Vintage Cafe on the way back to the Lock House Museum.

This will be a walk, not a stroll, with a moderate pace and stopping to view the various green sites for a total 2.5 - 3 miles covered.
