About us
For many of us born in the US, our Spanish is great for home life, but when we encounter a college lecture, a museum plaque, or a complex novel, that's where our insecurities start to come out. If you’re tired of feeling "insecure" about your formal Spanish, let’s bridge that gap together.
I'd like to start a book club for Latin Americans who want to move past informal conversation. We’ll be reading Spanish translations of modern classics (think 1984, The Catcher in the Rye, or To Kill a Mockingbird) to build our vocabulary and confidence. Let’s stop second-guessing our Spanish and start mastering it with people just like us.
