In NYC for Memorial Day Weekend? Come join us for a live jazz party featuring Mimi Jones & Friends at Room 623!

Established in 2019, Room 623 has quickly become a Harlem destination for live jazz. Set discreetly below the well-known restaurant BSquared (#lookforthebluelight), the venue produces a chic, speakeasy vibe perfect for catching a quality jazz session with friends and a cocktail!

For more than two decades she’s been on the scene, bassist, vocalist, producer, label owner and now filmmaker Mimi Jones has reigned supreme, as a side woman to an impressive clique of musicians and as a leader with three original recording projects on her own Hot Tone Music label. She has toured extensively for over 30 years throughout the seven continents, and has played with such people as Frank Ocean, Kenny Barron, DD Bridgewater, Dianne Reeves, Tia Fuller, Roy Hargrove, Terri Lyne Carrington, Beyonce, Jason Moran, Common, Black Thought and more.

Rules Of Engagement For Our Meetup

• RSVP your attendance here with the HarlemGo Meetup group for free entry. We are currently limited to 20 seat reservations for the group. Additional comp tickets may become available, so if the list is full do not hesitate in joining the waitlist.
• Proof of vaccination will be required to enter the venue. Please bring your vaccination card.
• Doors open at 5:30pm and showtime starts at 6pm. HarlemGo RSVP's are STRONGLY recommended to arrive 20 minutes before showtime, and RSVP's will receive complimentary admission until 6:30pm. When you arrive, please state that you are on the HarlemGo Meetup list and give your name as listed in the group. If you arrive later than 6:30pm, your RSVP could be released and a $20 admission may be required to enter.
• Please consider purchasing 2 cocktails / drinks per person with your attendance. A drink minimum is not enforced, but will greatly be appreciated by the venue for your complimentary admission.
